My brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Carrie and niece Amy participated in this years Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics.
Mark actually "plunged" while Carrie and Amy were in the "Chicken Coop"!
The high on the sidelines was 19*F - freaking cold but warmer than the water under the 12" of ice cut away at Chatfield State Park.
So proud of my brother, he did great as did all of the participants - the rescue crews were not needed even once!
A great organization but a crazy fundraiser!
